Kristen is an artist, writer, mom, horse whisper and so much more. A dear friend of mine from New York City who recently moved to Texas during the pandemic to set up home and her art gallery in this little blue cottage and to dance with the horses who make their home here, too. Kristen is a ray of sunshine and light for all of those who come into contact with her. She has inspired me for years in so many ways. I can’t wait for you to meet her and to see her artistic talent of being able to create beauty all around her wherever she calls home.

Nikky is a visionary entrepreneur and influencer. She is the creator and owner of the highly acclaimed and award-winning Asian Mint Restaurant Group in Dallas and Nikky Feeding Souls lifestyle brand. Nikky Feeding Souls allows her to share her passion of feeding souls through food, culture and travel. Nikky has cultivated the art of engaging and expanding the interests of others and now offers virtual experiences that include cook “alongs”, insights to traveling and cultural exploration, culinary retreats to Southeast Asia, a YouTube series to feed the souls of others and a very active live feed to connect people and share her joy and energy. In 2020 she launched her new line of Thai cooking sauces and her online cooking classes incorporate stories of her native Thailand and the traditions, giving participants a full multi-cultural experience.

Chi Nguyen is founder of Purpose Tea, a company that creates delicious and healthy purple tea beverages that consumers love, but whose purpose extends beyond the impact on the customer. They reach as far as the small tea farms to give female tea pickers the opportunity for economic empowerment so they can improve their lives. Chi wants her daughter and the women of the world to enjoy the same benefit of this inclusive spirit. Because there are numerous barriers to women and girls that prevent them from reaching their full potential, she has decided to combine her love of tea and her passion for improving lives by creating a social enterprise focused on empowering the most vulnerable citizens in the poorest communities in the world: female tea pickers.

Sheeba Philip is CEO of Akola Jewelry, a globally-inspired luxury jewelry brand and retail social venture that employs nearly 200 women in extreme poverty in Uganda. Akola’s mission is to be the leading luxury brand utilizing world-class manufacturing that offers living wage employment to women, giving them a pathway out of poverty. Sheeba joined Akola in 2019 and was recently recognized by InStyle Magazine as one of its “50 Badass Women for 2021” for making the world a better place. Sheeba and I met years ago in New York City and have been close friends ever since. I am always so impressed with and inspired by Sheeba when I talk with her about the incredible work they are doing at Akola. I can’t wait to share the story of this luxury brand with purpose with you!

Rosie Jon is an artist, inspirational speaker, and writer. Rosie was born without arms but that hasn’t limited her ability to see the beautiful possibilities to live a life that she describes as extraordinary instead of ordinary. Rosie is a brilliant artist (she paints with her toes!) and busy mom of three keeping up with her two energetic young boys and baby girl, serving her children’s elementary school community as PTA co-president, teaching primary school kids (K-2) and working on her own children’s novel. Every time I spend time with Rosie I walk away feeling encouraged and hopeful about whatever challenges or obstacles I might be facing in my own life. I know you will absolutely love meeting her.
